Leadership Initiative for Youth Empowerment is hiring a Program Officer to lead fundraising and resource mobilisation, find funding opportunities, write grant proposals and build relationships with donors and funding partners. The role also supports programme coordination, project concept development, budgeting, implementation and donor reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and pursuing fundraising opportunities and potential donors
- Developing funding proposals, grant applications and project concepts
- Building and maintaining relationships with donors and funding partners
- Researching, tracking, and maintaining a pipeline of funding opportunities
- Developing project budgets and supporting proposal documents
- Coordinating programme activities and preparing donor reports
- Supporting resource mobilisation strategies and partnership development
