Skills Required:
• Hands-on experience testing or supporting software on macOS
• Practical experience with at least one major MDM platform (Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Kandji or Mosyle)
• Understanding of how enterprise applications are installed, configured, updated and removed on managed Macs
• Ability to investigate macOS behavior using system logs, Terminal, configuration profiles and diagnostic tools
• Basic shell or Python scripting for test automation
• Clear, detailed, reproducible bug reports
• Ability to work independently and overlap reasonably with U.S. working hours
• Reliable internet and a suitable remote testing environment
• English language
Bonus: Endpoint or enterprise security software experience; PPPC/TCC, Full Disk Access, system extensions, code signing, notarization or macOS installer packages; experience with multiple MDM platforms; Swift, XCTest or CI/CD; building an MDM or compatibility test environment from scratch.

Honcho Nigeria is hiring a hands-on macOS MDM & Deployment QA Engineer to test and validate a macOS application across different operating systems and managed environments. You will:
• Build and maintain macOS test environments, mainly on Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune, with Kandji and Mosyle as needed
• Own testing of the full deployment lifecycle (installs, upgrades, removal, re-enrollment and macOS upgrades)
• Determine whether failures come from the application, MDM configuration, packaging, permissions or macOS itself
• Run risk-based compatibility testing across macOS versions, Apple silicon and Intel Macs, and different MDM platforms
• Write precise bug reports that engineers can reproduce
• Automate repetitive testing and use AI-assisted tools to expand coverage
• Work with engineering to validate builds before release
