AI tools are so amazing — but only if they are marketed properly!!!!
If only companies and startups that provide AI tools can position their products as excellent assistants that can significantly ease the stress of skilled professionals and lower the barrier to entry for newbies and tech dummies, there won't be so much negativity and gloom around everyone!
Skilled professionals won't be shitting their pants because they can be replaced by a technology that clearly shouldn't even be in that discussion in the first place!
CEOs won't be terrified of their companies failing because of unfulfilled promises and exaggerated, bogus claims after spending so much money!
Governments won't be betting their future on AI supremacy!
Neighborhoods won't be terrified of AI Data Centers destroying their peace, finances, happiness, and health because there won't be a need for so many data centers!
Rather, AI just had to be marketed as that thing that will replace the human workforce, cure cancer, solve world poverty, and so many bogus claims!
Now, my question is: How did we get here?
How did we manage to find ourselves in this quagmire?
How did such a useful, helpful, and revolutionary technology become a source of gloom and frustration for millions across the world???
How????
Honestly, I think this is a really good way to look at AI. It can make things easier for us, especially for beginners, without necessarily taking away the value of human skills. I’m still new to tech, but I’m beginning to see how useful AI can be when used the right way 👍🏽
I think the problem is not only how AI is marketed, but also how people are choosing to use it. As an accounting student, I see AI as something that can make calculations, research and routine tasks easier, but it still cannot take responsibility for professional judgement. The bigger problem is when a company replaced human being with a machine instead of tools that help them work better .
"IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE AI TOOLS ARE MARKETED AS EXCELLENT ASSISTANTS AND NOT AS NOT AS REPLACEMENTS"
A insightful recap
