Relying on a single Upwork client or any freelance client really is a fatal and diabolical error. Never ever do that - no matter how great the client is. They can terminate your contract anytime, and there is nothing you can do about it. No severance pay, nothing!

- Sharp 😲I honestly didn’t know this. I guess it’s just like in accounting—you shouldn’t put all your resources in one place. Having just one client is actually a huge risk, because if they leave, your whole source of income is affected.

Do you mean relying on one freelance platform? If yes, then that's correct. Don't rely too much on one freelance platform, but focus on one first and master it before moving to another. If you are trying one and it isn't working out, try another and don't waste too much time on a platform that isn't working out for you.
