Description:
A global food and beverage company, described as one of the top brands in the world, needs an Apigee Engineer. The role is a technical lead for Apigee and Apigee Hybrid on AKS and AWS. It keeps application infrastructure healthy and efficient and provides hands-on implementation and technical advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting enterprise-level application platforms, including automating platform builds, patches, vulnerability management, change and incident management, and monitoring
- Working with peers, technology partners and vendors to automate and roll out patches and resolve issues
- Supporting and managing APIs and microservices built with Java and Spring Boot
- Creating, organising and implementing API support processes
- Supporting and deploying API policies on the Apigee platform
- Working with the Apigee Developer Portal and Drupal integration
- Handling cloud security and certificate management
- Developing long-range plans to prevent recurring problems
- Directing the daily risk and control flow of operations, including policies, procedures, and work standards
