Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Experience: Senior level, 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure design, network administration, and systems support
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing servers (Windows Server and Linux), networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls), storage, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure
- Advanced diagnostic skills across hardware, software, operating system, and network layers
- Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and backup management
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSA, or CompTIA Network+/Security+
- Clear client-facing communication skills and strong technical mentoring ability
- A proven record of managing multi-client SLA requirements

Description:
IT Connect Limited is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, manage, and optimise the IT infrastructure and systems of its clients. The role includes giving technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers, monitoring system performance and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, configuring, maintaining and monitoring IT systems, network infrastructure, operating systems and core applications across different client environments
- Acting as an escalation point for technical support, resolving hardware, software, network and systems issues across multiple client accounts
- Carrying out routine system upgrades, patch management, automated backups and proactive performance monitoring to minimise downtime
- Guiding, mentoring and supervising junior IT engineers, including system reviews
- Working with internal IT teams, external vendors and business stakeholders to deploy solutions and align infrastructure with client business needs
