Experience: 3+ years in a research role, or relevant experience gained in the energy industry.
Education: Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Environment/Climate, or another science
Skills Required:
- Research: research experience or strong interest in energy sectors, particularly data centers and emerging power generation technologies
- Data work: experience with data entry, research, or project tracking, and familiarity with Google Sheets/Excel and research methodologies
- AI tools: comfortable using AI and automation tools
- Communication: clear written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail: strong attention to detail
- Work style: self-driven, proactive, able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and eager to learn and grow

Talenthub HR Network is hiring a curious and analytically rigorous Research Analyst to support research, market intelligence, and insights generation across energy sectors. The analyst reports to the Chief Executive Officer and works directly with an external partner in the climate tech and finance sector to deliver market analyses, competitive intelligence, and strategic recommendations. Your work will include:
- Conducting in-depth research across energy sectors, with a focus on data centers and other emerging energy technologies
- Collecting and analyzing data on energy investment trends, project deployment, supply chains, and commercialization pathways
- Synthesizing complex information from multiple sources into clear, actionable summaries
- Staying on top of the latest trends in energy technologies and integrating them into research frameworks and reports
- Converting research findings into actionable frameworks and strategic recommendations
- Maintaining research repositories with proper documentation of sources and findings
- Using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to improve research productivity, and recommending and implementing research tools
- Working with different teams to understand research needs, and presenting findings through written reports and presentations
