Experience: Mid-level, minimum 4-6 years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI design, interaction design, or a related role
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience independently leading digital product-design projects from discovery through implementation and release
- Experience designing responsive websites, web applications, mobile products, dashboards, portals, learning platforms or complex administrative systems
- Proven experience creating, managing, or contributing significantly to a scalable design system
- Strong knowledge of user-centred design, design thinking, interaction design and digital product-development principles
- Ability to manage several design projects and stakeholders at the same time
- Strong design leadership, project management, planning, documentation and prioritisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Professional certifications in product design, UX research, interaction design, accessibility or product management (advantageous)
- Experience in edtech, healthcare training, marketplaces, SaaS, learning platforms, or service-based technology businesses (advantageous)

Description:
Tuteria is hiring a Product Designer to lead and manage the end-to-end design of Tuteria and Medbuddy's digital products. The goal is for every product experience to be intuitive, accessible, visually consistent, and user-centred, and aligned with the companies' approved design and brand standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning product design projects from discovery and ideation through to implementation and release
- Setting design standards, processes and documentation, and reviewing designs before handover to the tech team
- Conducting user research with learners, parents, tutors, instructors, school administrators and corporate clients
- Designing user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes for web, mobile, dashboards and learning platforms
- Building and maintaining a shared design system for Tuteria and Medbuddy while preserving each brand's identity
- Planning and running usability tests and improving designs based on the findings
- Handing off to developers, reviewing builds for accuracy and giving final design approval before release
- Running design quality assurance and accessibility audits
- Using analytics, conversion data and user feedback to improve key journeys such as registration, onboarding, enrolment, payment and learning
- Working with product managers on roadmap planning, sprint sessions and product reviews
