Description:
Stears is hiring a Senior Research Associate to join its Intelligence Team, within Research Operations. You will build the expert-grade qualitative dataset that powers Stears' Deep Research product, starting with industries and later expanding to other asset classes. You won't write finished reports. Instead, you will:
- Source and conduct expert calls and interviews (~35%)
- Turn them into typed, tagged records (~30%)
- Review AI-generated outputs against the quality bar (~20%)
- Spot and close coverage gaps (~15%)
You will report to the Research Operations Lead, work to the quality bar set by the Head of Research, and collaborate with senior analysts and the engineering team. The role is built for people who are comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities.
