Freelancing simply means offering your skills and services to multiple clients on a project or contract basis - without being tied to one employer long-term. Imagine you have a digital skill; instead of working for a single company where you go to work daily from 8 am to 4 pm, you instead find clients from different parts of the world (Nigeria and other countries) who will hire you to do a task or many tasks for them.
These clients can ask you to do one job for them, or they can ask you to do many jobs for them. They can also keep giving you jobs for a long time if they want to. Basically, they can give you a task that could take 1 hour, some could take 2 hours, some could give you jobs that would take days, and some will keep giving you new jobs consistently for months. It varies, and the jobs too will be different.
Also, you can work from anywhere and at any time. You could be a student going to school, and it won't affect your classes since you can work when you leave class and in the evenings or at night when you are free.
Also, you can be working for many clients at the same time - as long as you are able to handle the jobs that you are getting. If you like, you can work for 1 hour in a day; if you like, you can work for much more hours. You will also decide how much you want to ask/charge for the work you are doing for your clients.
Basically, this is what is called freelancing with your skills.
As for Neolife, it is supposed to be just a company selling some health products. However, in Nigeria, they are known to engage in something called MLM - Multi-Level Marketing. This is not freelancing; it's a form of marketing that relies on deceitful and fake promises to lure unsuspecting people into buying their products and promoting it for them.
Unlike true freelancing, which I already described above, Neolife is not a career choice; in fact, it can destroy someone's career. So you must avoid them as their promises are nothing but deceit, and thousands of Nigerians, especially students, have been deceived by them.
To be successful as a freelancer, you must learn a true digital skill. learn, master the skill, and look for good freelance jobs that will pay you good money. Avoid Neolife or similar companies that promise you a life of glory and riches. It is a lie, and you will only lose your money and waste your precious time.
