Self Bill Pro provides a tech-enabled service, built on proprietary software, that removes the manual invoice audits and billing errors from monthly employee benefits billing for employers, brokers, and carriers. It is hiring a Director of Product Management and IT Operations to lead the strategy and execution of its software platform and to keep its IT infrastructure and systems stable and secure. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with the global product manager to define, prioritise and manage the product roadmap
- Leading the product development lifecycle, from gathering feedback and writing user stories and specifications to launch, with the offshore development team
- Giving technical oversight and guidance to the development team
- Ensuring compliance with security standards such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
- Managing relationships with customers, investors, and internal teams
- Working with the stateside operations team to turn business needs into technical requirements
- Overseeing day-to-day IT operations, including helpdesk support, hotfixes, and onboarding of new employees
