Job Title: Creative Operations Assistant

Company: Trop d'Argent Ventures Ltd (recruiting on behalf of a client in the creative and cultural industries)

Job Type: Part-time, contract-based (approximately 20 hours per week, rotating schedule)

Location: Remote-first, Nigeria-based. Occasional project-related travel within Nigeria may be required, including Lagos, Abuja, and the South-East.

Salary/Pay: NGN 110,000 monthly (listed range: NGN 70,000 - 150,000, Negotiable)

Experience: Entry-level; approximately 1 year of relevant experience desirable

Skills Required:

  • HND or higher preferred (relevant experience and strong ability will also be considered)
  • Strong eye for detail and taste
  • Genuine interest in fashion, art, film, lifestyle, culture and the wider creative industries
  • Highly organised, dependable and able to work independently
  • Professional and articulate written and verbal communication in English
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new digital tools
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, website/CMS platforms and social media tools (useful)
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and CapCut experience (an advantage)
  • French-speaking applicants are also welcome

Description:

Trop d'Argent Ventures is recruiting on behalf of a client in the creative and cultural industries for a Creative Operations Assistant. The role provides coordination, administrative and practical support across art, fashion, film, editorial projects and other creative initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating project calendars, deadlines, meetings and action points
  • Following up with artists, contributors, institutions, partners and suppliers
  • Supporting exhibitions, editorial projects, shoots and events
  • Maintaining contact databases, project documents and digital archives
  • Assisting with website/CMS updates, content uploads and social media scheduling
  • Researching artists, organisations, grants, venues and potential partnerships
  • Preparing briefs, correspondence, presentations and project information
  • Assisting with Nigeria-based project logistics and event preparation
  • Tracking invoices, receipts and administrative records
  • Flagging deadlines or operational issues before they become urgent

The initial contract may be reviewed or expanded over time, with increased responsibility and broader project ownership possible based on performance, capability and the business's needs.
