Description:
Toggl builds planning, time tracking, reporting, and profitability tools for agencies, consultancies, and product teams. It is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the Product Tribe that builds for managers, covering planning, capacity management, dashboards, and billable work, as it builds and launches Toggl 2.0, its combined planning, time tracking, and time intelligence product. You will join a tribe of 5 other engineers, a product manager, and a designer, with high impact and visibility. The stack is React and TypeScript on the frontend, with mostly Golang services and Postgres behind them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the technical approach for major features from data model and API to the interface, and shipping in slices
- Making technical decisions in your area without waiting for permission
- Building fast, accessible interfaces for dense data such as schedules, capacity views, and reports
- Treating performance as a feature, from slow queries to slow renders
- Shaping solutions with product and design, and staying close to users and data
- Reviewing code, mentoring engineers and helping with hiring
- Using AI tools extensively and helping the tribe do the same
