Description:
Alloy is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to be one of the first two engineers in a new function. The engineer is embedded with Alloy's largest enterprise customers and owns the technical outcome end to end, acting as a trusted technical partner on how Alloy fits into their tech stack and fraud strategy. It is a software engineering role within the Engineering org, spanning software, product, and solutions engineering, and you will help define how the function works.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and tuning customer and channel-partner deployments end to end, including API integrations, third-party data integrations, SDKs, and latency constraints
- Writing production code across Alloy's stack
- Acting as Alloy's credible technical voice with customer engineering leadership and making architectural calls in real time
- Owning the engineering track of quarterly business reviews for your accounts and serving in their on-call escalation path
- Turning your work into reusable platform primitives and documentation so each deployment speeds up the next
