Lemon.io is hiring a Head of Engineering to own engineering as the company moves from a services-driven marketplace to a technology-driven platform. The role is hands-on, closely involved in product decisions, and works side by side with the founder. Your work will include:
- Owning the technical roadmap and making sure every engineering effort maps to business impact
- Leading and growing an engineering team that ships fast and treats complexity as a cost
- Tackling automated vetting, intelligent matching at scale, and demand-side bottlenecks
- Making hard prioritization calls on what to build, skip, and kill
- Working with the founder and product team to define what success looks like before coding begins
- Building an engineering culture of high ownership, high speed, and low bureaucracy
