Experience: Senior level, 7 to 8 years of related software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree, or a master's degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience. Includes 3+ years building and maintaining container-based applications and 4+ years with cloud platforms.

Skills Required:
- Backend development: strong experience in backend systems and services, with proficiency in Java, C#, C++, or similar languages
- Computer science fundamentals: strong knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Containers: 3+ years designing, building, deploying, and maintaining container-based applications
- Cloud: 4+ years with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Delivery: experience with Continuous Delivery practices and automated deployment pipelines
- Security: working knowledge of secure development practices in distributed systems
- Problem-solving: strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Leadership: effective communication and collaboration, and experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team-level technical leadership
Advantage: Experience in financial services or fintech; familiarity with shared platforms, distributed systems, developer productivity, or engineering ecosystem practices; use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot to improve productivity

You will design, build, and operate scalable platform services and shared libraries that improve developer productivity, system reliability, and delivery velocity. - Designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, reliable platform services and shared libraries
- Contributing to platform and system architecture decisions, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer experience
- Writing high-quality, maintainable code and modeling strong engineering practices
- Working with Staff Engineers and peers on standards and patterns that support Continuous Delivery
- Addressing performance, scalability, and reliability issues across platform services
- Taking part in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Improving monitoring, alerting, and incident response, and fixing the root causes of production issues
- Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
