Description:
Bay Creative Technologies and Services is looking for a motivated and technically capable Cybersecurity Specialist to help protect the organization's systems, networks, devices, and digital information. The ideal candidate has practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles and is willing to keep developing their technical skills. Training and onboarding support will be provided where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring systems, networks and applications for potential security threats
- Identifying, investigating and reporting suspicious activity and security incidents
- Assisting with vulnerability assessments and basic security testing
- Supporting the implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Helping maintain secure configurations for computers, networks and other digital systems
- Assisting with access control, account security and password management
- Monitoring security logs and supporting data protection and backup procedures
- Documenting incidents, findings and recommended actions
- Keeping up to date with emerging threats and best practices, and helping improve security awareness across the team
